Between music and basketball

Zemfira Talgatovna Ramazanov born on August 26, 1976 in Ufa in the Tatar-Bashkir intellectual family .  Her father worked as a history teacher, my mother worked at the medical unit .  Musical talents of the girl appeared at an early age, so early as five years she studied at the School of Music in piano and in the age of seven, composed his first song, the first students were parents and their colleagues .  Generally Zemfira almost from the cradle was how versatile gifted and curious child, and such a chance, and tends to lead to maximum results in everything and always .  It so happened that at school she simultaneously attended seven different groups and sections, the main of which was still the same music school and basketball section .  By focusing on these two areas, the girl achieved significant results - has become the captain of the junior women's national team in basketball and graduated from music school with honors .  However, by the time Zemfira has openly bored with classes in classical music - played a role, and the monotony of the traditional music education, and the fact that thanks to the elder brother of the girl have an interest in rock music: the first "catch" her performers were the group Black Sabbath and Queen .  And then later in her life seriously entered the domestic rock, the most venerable representatives of the repertoire which she performs with friends in the streets of Ufa .

The end of secondary school, where Zemfira, incidentally, was an excellent student, coincided with the moment when she was tired of her old classes. She threw the basketball classes and passed exams in "muzykalke" with a clear representation of what "it" is no longer engaged. The road to fame

Life Music School students in the Russian province of the mid-1990s can be called anything but just not comfortable financially .  Therefore Zemfira had to earn and make it their vocal abilities, for four years she sang in restaurants in the city of Ufa .  In the end, despite some pretty decent money by local standards, she was tired of this occupation in the extreme, and she got a much smaller salary at the Ufa branch of the radio station "Europe plus" for the position of engineer .  Her creative development of this step is very important for the reason that that is where it is more or less mastered the professional sound equipment and learned how to write songs on the computer .  This, writing their own songs (among the first were "The Weather Man", "Snow", "Why"), and it took using the same computer and friends in the college musician friends .  As a result of chaotic musical activities for 1996-1997 in his personal music library Zemfira accumulated about three dozen songs .  Timid attempts singer somehow promote their creativity in Ufa and Moscow nor to no avail and eventually, as it often happens with talented people, all decided case .  In 1998, she went for a few days on a visit to Moscow, where he gave a friend to listen to the songs stored on the CD-ROM .  That they liked the songs were rewritten on the tape, and after the departure of Zemfira home was through "friends of friends" are not available for Leonid Burlakov, the producer was already famous group "Mumiy Troll" .  Burlakov liked the song, he called Ramazanova in Ufa and that had to borrow money for a ticket to return to Moscow .  There, after joint discussions it was decided to record a real studio album Zemfira .  Recording began in autumn 1998 in the studio of the "Mummy Troll", and the beginning of 99th album of 14 songs was ready .  In the spring of rotation of individual songs ("Arividerchi", "Missiles", "AIDS") on radio stations .  So by May 10, 1999, when the album "Zemfira" was officially released for sale, the name Zemfira was already at the hearing of millions of Russian music lovers .

From the first song everything and ordinary listeners and experts, it became clear: in the national music is not just a new singer and a new phenomenon. Songs with a surprisingly "not our" sound and bright catchy texts immediately became cult. Further albums Zemfira - "Forgive me my love" (2000), "Fourteen weeks of silence" (2002), "Vendetta" (2005), "Thank you" (2007) - only confirmed the view that the singer, composer and poet worth alone in the modern Russian music, and in the future will certainly be dealt with separately.
