Charming seventeen year old Isabella Swan (Kristen Stewart) arrives in a small town of Forks, his father (Billy Burke), the local police chief. New school, new friends, and - new mysteries. The secrets of the Cullen family is strange, five junior representatives who are studying together with Bella: teens, though descended from the pages of a glossy magazine, does not harmonize with the provinciality of Forks, in which the inhabitants of a little more than three thousand. Four junior Cullen clearly constitute a pair that is not too surprising others, because they are foster children, that is not blood relatives.

But the fifth, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is free. It was he attracted to Bella. And Edward behaves in the presence of a weird girl - escapes, she is to be around, and then all is lost and for the whole week, skipping school.

In the end, after Edward saves Bella from death under the wheels of the car, showing the wonders of strength and speed, it turns out that the girl's first love - a real vampire. Of those that are described more Bram Stoker, with all the habits of the vampire, and include regular drinking of blood. However, a mitigating factor is that the Cullen clan, it appears, are vegetarians. That is, they do not drink human blood, preferring to feed on the blood of animals.

Romantic love Bella and Edward blooms. Family Cullen takes a girl like her - she is a lover of one of them. The clash with the nomadic vampires destroy the idyll. One of these "nomadic", James (Cam Gigandet), begins to hunt Bella. The salvation of the girls involved the entire Cullen clan - they "protect their own".

This film is called a film about true love, almost a Romeo and Juliet story, but, of course, in the modern version. And this despite the fact that the ideal lover - a vampire.

But that is typical: in the "Twilight" did not show a single corpse (though in the course of the film killed two people and one vampire), whole blood, which is shed for the film - scratched the palm of the protagonist, Bella Swan, a half-hour horror - only one fight, and that - in the style of "The Matrix" (theatrical flight, beautiful strokes, blurred by the speed).

What's even more interesting - a modern film about love, there is only one kiss and erotic scene - this is not a romp under the covers with a sigh sob s and a demonstration of how many some square centimeters or even meters of naked bodies, and only some - a peaceful sleep on the soft shoulder of courageous heroine lover. It is clear that sex is not just do not show it - is absent, giving way to clear "adolescent" love (in quotes - this is because the lover about 100 years old, so it is difficult to call a teenager).

Despite the apparent "vampire" movie plot, depressing music and dim, "Twilight" tone, sight - amazingly harmless. Horror, which is absolutely terrible. However, during a romantic dance at the school ball Bella convinces Edward to bite her, to make a vampire, and even substitutes for neck vampire fangs. But Edward nobly refuses, offering the girl is not eternal life, and - long and happy life with him.

The "Twilight" appeared many fans wonder: this film is fascinating. In recent years, rarely appear on the screen as clean films of teenage life - no drinks, not pricked, do not have sex. Not even the usual confrontations have children and parents. While Bella's parents are divorced, besides his mother married a second time. But even his stepfather - my dear and harmless baseball, did not interfere in the process of education and sincerely wish good stepdaughter.

Fairy tale? Of course. But - my dear, kind and beautiful fairy tale, which is nice to look at. On the general background of a complacent look venial and some inconsistencies (eg, Cullen forever seventeen children who permanently live in a small town - although this is an explanation immediately, because the vampire is leaving little family periodically).

In the film there is also a couple deliberately dangling storylines: the killed remains nomadic vampire lover Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) - also a vampire, which is clearly burning desire for revenge, and watching the last scene of the romantic dance of Edward and Bella; an ominous warning from the Indian Reservation - "We are watching you! ", Which also has no consequences - yet.

These lines will be implemented in the sequel. At the end of this, 2009 is scheduled for release in theaters "New Moon", the continuation of the romantic story of Bella and Edward, a man and a vampire in love with each other.
