At the end of filming of "Aquarela do Brasil" You said you wanted to take a break from work for about a year. What made you take part in the "As Filhas da Mãe"?
The project is fantastic! I was really tired, as an actor, and would like to relax a little, but when in March, Silvio (Abreu - the director) made me an offer ... It was a temptation! After reading the script, I simply could not refuse.

First you need to prove that you - the star, show your talent, and then fight ... I think so. I like to work with famous actors, learn from them and, of course, would like to reach their heights.

You have played in one of the episodes in the "brave people" ("Brava Gente") comic character. In your career, it is also the first time - to play in a comedy?
Well, that allowed me to play something else - bothered to portray the romantic heroes. By the way, this is also a villain, but a comedy - a kind of seducer. If I had not stopped, I would have done a lot of things!

But Adriano also very seductive ...
Maybe. But he has such a bad reputation that no good looks will not save ...

A little bit about "the world of love." You'll be shooting in the second half?
I am currently working in "As Filhas da Mãe". This is what I can say, but on the other ... It is a question of professional ethics. Now I'm focused on Adriano.

This time was the hardest. During the first 11 days, I was torn between Rio de Janeiro, where the shooting of the series and the place where they filmed the movie. It was hard to concentrate - I need some time to get into character, because it was a completely different style, a different language, a different character.

A year ago, you said that is not yet ready to go to the movies. Now everything has changed?
In my profession all happening pretty fast. Sometimes what happens is that you least expect. I think that at my age it's time to try your hand at cinema. Moreover, such a strong script and such an interesting character. How could I miss this chance?

Your appearance has contributed to your success?
I think if I was ... ugly, I would be unlikely to take on the role of Mateo in the "Land of Love", but the appearance is not the main component of the acting profession, the main thing - talent.

In such a case, to be a handsome man - a blessing or a punishment for you?
Neither one nor the other. I can not say that I am ugly. But the beauty - it is something that I use to captivate the viewer. I think I can play and handsome and ugly creature.
