A world full of prejudices and frightening religious practices appears before the audience in the Turkish TV series "Little Bride". A teenage girl, almost a child, is a hostage of circumstances when she was married against the will of a man, whom she hates with all his heart, and now her only hope of happiness - to escape.

Not cloudless childhood

Zahra (Chagla Simsek) grows up in a poor Turkish province with parents, older brother and younger sister, she is loyal and good-hearted girl who dreams to grow up and become a teacher. The elder brother of Zahra in love with a girl from a wealthy home, she loves it, but the girl's family does not approve of their relationship, he is poor and uneven. The lovers flee, arrogantly decided to organize their own lives away from home, but they are caught on the way and return to be tried for treason, which, according to tradition, can redeem only death. There is only one way to save both from destruction: the girl from the family of the guilty men should go to the family of those he had offended. Zahra's father does not think about the daughter, giving her a bride in a strange house in exchange for his only son, and for the girls starts a new, full test life in which she had only one assistant - a teacher from a local school Melek (Gёzde Mukavelat).

Justice injustice

Turkey displayed in cinema today, shows two polar trends in society: the desire for Europeanization, and the desire to preserve historical traditions. Turkish melodrama similar to the experience of the novelist of the 19th century, decided to bring down on the heads of the heroes of all possible misfortunes. Poor at the behest of writer Zahra Erkan Chyplaka goes from the frying pan into the fire but suffer from the coldness of the parents, the cruelty of the new family of the injustice of the world of adults, in which she went unwillingly.
