Ten famous jewelry houses have created a collection called 'Emeralds for Elephants'

In creating the collection was attended by such jewelers as Abaran Jewellers (Bangalore), Anmol Jewellers (Mumbai), Gem Palace of Jaipur, Khanna Jewellers (New Daly), Meena Jewellers (Hyderabad), Narayan Jewellers (Baroda), Nirav Modi from Mumbai , Sawansukha Jewellers (Kolkata), Talwarsons Jewellers (Chandigarh) and Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers in Chennai.

From August to October 2011, this collection was exhibited in well-known fashion houses and boutiques, and then October 14, 2011 was exhibited at Sotheby's in Mumbai at the Taj Mahal. A certain percentage of the proceeds received by the Fund was to protect Indian elephants. The jewel of the collection was the sculpture of the Hindu god Ganesh holding a Zambian emerald six hundred thirty-eight carats. This work of art created by the famous master Arzan Khambatta (Arzan Khambatta).
