Main character - a young man named Adriano. At the age of 3 years old, he lost in the jungle, his parents were killed by a tribe of Indians, and he was rescued and sheltered at the healer of the tribe. Now, his name is not Adriano and Tatuapu. So he lived in this nation, developed as a native, but was never adopted the "tribesmen" for what was not like them - it was white-skinned, blond and was considered a freak.

All the while, Grandpa Adriano is constantly looking for his grandson, because convinced that he is alive. The other main character - Sgt. Bernardo Baldochi. Twelve years ago, he feigned his own death in order to escape from the mob.
