Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups of milk at room temperature

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

The cooking process

Preheat oven to 100 C. In a large bowl, combine 1 3/4 cups flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. In a small bowl mix the egg with the milk and vanilla extract. Melt three tablespoons of butter in a large antiprigranoy skillet over medium heat. Add liquid ingredients to dry and mix thoroughly. You should get a thick dough. If there are a few lumps of - do not worry.

Serve pancakes immediately, or put it in the oven to keep them warm. Serve with maple syrup.
