For decades, it was customary to assume that these spirits do only in France. Of course, the art of French perfumery is unparalleled, and yet produce very high-quality perfumes, in many countries, including in Russia. Many women, for example, unfairly ignored spirits "New Dawn", and in fact some of the samples of the perfume factories are not inferior to the French.
The history of "New Dawn"
Factory "New Dawn" was founded in 1864 by Frenchman Henry Brocard. Of course, the name was different then: the new "revolutionary" the name of the company received in 1922. In between the October Revolution and the renaming of the "New Dawn" factory wore unattractive name of "Perfume and soap plant №5».
Henry Brocard offers customers a variety of tobacco products from soap to perfume. Savvy marketing and excellent quality of the products made the most popular products from Brocard. For example, the soap "popular" with fresh cucumber aroma was worth just one penny, and for "Greek" soap using high quality peanut butter, a beneficial effect on the skin.
One of the earliest and most famous flavors from Brocard was "The Persian lilac".
Like other spirits of the time, "The Persian lilac" is characterized by simple composition, which, however, did not prevent the flavor to become popular not only in the Russian Empire, but also abroad.
After the revolution, the factory brought fame spirits "Red Moscow". This extremely popular in the middle of the XX century, the aroma is released today. Indifferent to this perfume not: someone thinks it is hopelessly outdated and tasteless, while others believe that the classic fragrance for real luxury and never goes out of fashion.
At the beginning of the XXI century "New Dawn" began its production in cooperation with the French perfumery under the name «Nouvelle Etoile». There are new flavors of class "luxury" of higher than before the price has been paid increased attention to the packaging of perfume.
The phenomenon of "New Dawn"
The Soviet women did not have much choice: the French and even the Polish spirits were not so easy to get, and the production of "New Dawn" was available. Relatively inexpensive and very persistent aromas were popular: the bottle of "Red Moscow" or "Golden Scythian" was probably every inhabitant of the Soviet Union.
Opened the "iron curtain" and the ladies were able to acquire any foreign flavors. In most cases, however, inexperienced buyers offered rough fake, but soon the real works of French perfumers have become quite affordable. However, despite all this abundance, and many of the twenty-first century continue to be happy to use the products of the factory "New Dawn". What is the secret of the popularity of these spirits?
Related products "New Dawn" can be divided into three groups:
- Classic flavors ("Red Moscow", "Scythian Gold", "Elena" and other famous perfume);
- Fashionable fragrances (series of fragrances that are released within a few years and then phased out. This group includes perfume "Lovely", "Shalunya", "Kuznetsky Most" and others);
- Limited Editions (produced only one or two games of spirits, such as "The Persian lilac" - a copy of one of the first fragrances Henry Brocard).
For they love the "New Dawn"?
In the production of "New Dawn" has a lot of advantages. The first can be attributed to the advantages, of course, the price: the original production of the oldest perfume factory is often cheaper than a primitive forgery made in makeshift conditions.

Disadvantages perfume "New Dawn"

So, because of the lack of advertising, most new products are unknown to ordinary customers. That advertising, which is, gives the product a very vague idea, which also contributes to the popularity of the fragrances. The same can be said about the names of the spirits, which are often not very successful. For example, cause bewilderment names like "Sweet Day" or "scandal".
Very often, the factory "New Dawn" is accused of cloning the famous "hyped" flavors.
For example, the aroma of "Kuznetsky Most" in white packaging is almost identical to «Climat» by Lancome, and the "Green Tea" and "Pepper Tea" looks suspiciously like a perfume from Elizabeth Arden. Such examples, according to customers, a lot. In most cases the fragrances "New Dawn" inferior to the original. Despite the fact that the factory "New Dawn" enables its customers to buy analogues famous and fashionable perfume for a ridiculous price, up flavors like not to face the oldest perfume factory with a rich history.
Another drawback of the production plant is, oddly enough, its inaccessibility. In many cities of Russia easier to buy the original French perfume than spirits from the factory "New Dawn". A limited edition scents are not repeated, which causes a lot of criticism on the part of those to whom this perfume liking.
Discontent often causes and packaging. It is clear that the low rates are explained by the minimal expenses for production of bottles and boxes for them, and yet defiantly cheap crooked plastic bottles and caps, devoid of all individuality, love is not everything. However, there are exceptions, such as the charming vintage bottles from the series "Gems."
