Handmade soap with rosemary and mint preparing cold way - one of the most labor-intensive. You should have patience and prepare for what is too easy (as, indeed, extremely difficult) will not be - especially if this is your first experience in the preparation of soap in this way.

To get the 1, 8 kg of soap, you will need:

• 1 kg of olive oil Olive oil: useful properties ;
• 740 g of palm oil;
• 250 g of sodium hydroxide;
• 500 g of distilled water;
• 85 g of a mixture of essential oils of peppermint and rosemary mixed in a ratio of 1: 1;
• 2 bags of organic mint tea.

Be sure to read the instructions before proceeding to the manufacture of soap - it will help to avoid many mistakes.

• Melt palm oil over low heat.
• Pour appropriate amount of water in a vessel designed for cooking liquor. Wear rubber gloves, goggles and a respirator. Measure out the amount of caustic soda and add it to the water. (Remember, always add the lye to the water, not vice versa). Your solution will overheat; let it cool for a few minutes.
• Measure the necessary amount of the other ingredients and yet leave them aside. Tear tea bags, and also is set aside.
• Make sure that your forms for soap clean, dry and ready to use.
• Add the melted palm oil olive oil. If necessary, allow the oil to cool down a little. When you add them in an alkaline solution, the temperature of oil should be close to room temperature. Otherwise, the mixture would solidify faster than normal, which may become a problem if you add colorants or other additives, which requires stirring for a certain time.
• Add the alkaline solution in the oil mix thoroughly whisk or a blender. • Pour the soap mixture into a prepared form. Now, the shape of a soap can be left somewhere where it will not disturb you, and where already without your participation, will continue the process of saponification. Some people believe that the best saponification takes place in the heat. If you feel well, you can cover the shape with soap thick towel or blanket, or put it in the oven, preheated to 70-80S, and leave it for several hours or overnight.
• 24 hours later, remove the soap from the mold, cut it into pieces, and leave "ripen" for 3-4 months. As soon as the liquid remaining in the soap will evaporate, it is slightly reduced in size. In principle, the soap can be used in a week, but its quality is far from being as good as it would be a few months later.
