Cough child develops quite often, and every family has their own ways of dealing with this unpleasant condition. Somebody brews herbs someone uses badger fat, someone makes inhalation. - Dr. Mom - lozenges containing licorice, ginger, embliki and menthol have expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, analgesic and antiseptic. Warning: clinical experience in children missing! This is a drug for adults!
- Tusupreks (oxeladin, oxeladin acetate) - a synthetic agent, which has antitussive and expectorant action, which can be assigned to young children, even up to a year, but the drug should be prescribed by a doctor and choose the optimum dosage.
- Libeksin - synthetic drug cough, which has anesthetic, bronchodilator effect and reduces the activity of the respiratory center without suppressing respiratory function. By efficiency equivalent to codeine, but not addictive. It can be used in children of all ages, after consultation with the doctor.
- Bitiodin - antitussive drug is a synthetic, equal in strength to codeine, but not addictive. It is used in adults only.
- Ledeen - cough medication obtained from the shoots of wild rosemary marsh that can be applied regardless of the meal. It has an impact on the respiratory center. It is used in adults only.
- Glauvent (glaucine hydrochloride) is obtained from a plant glautsium yellow, which belongs to the family of the poppy. The drug has a strong antitussive effect. Approved by children after four years.
