Neuro-linguistic programming or NLP - a branch of practical psychology, not recognized by official science, but is becoming increasingly popular among people with different levels of education. NLP describes the fundamental connection between mind and tongue, and explains how they affect human behavior.

It is expected that the study of NLP helps people become more successful by simulating some aspects of the behavior of successful people, influence their interlocutors better to understand the behavior of others, and so on. Story

Neuro-linguistic programming in 1960-70 began to develop three American scientists - Richard Bandler, John Grinder and Frank Pucelik. Their task was to develop a model of human behavior that would help to understand why some people cope with their tasks very well, while others are the same is extremely difficult or almost impossible. Information obtained during the investigation, the information became the basis for all areas of NLP.

Basic principles

To date, NLP has grown into a complex doctrine, and all of its principles can not explain in a few paragraphs. However, all of NLP is based on two fundamental assumptions:

• Map - this is not the territory. People are not able to know reality; what they consider reality is only their own perception of reality. We learn about the world and respond to external stimuli, based mainly on the fact that tell us our sensory system. Consciousness of each person generates neurolinguistic maps of reality, and it is from them, not from objective reality, independent of human behavior and the importance he puts in his actions and the actions of others. All systems are based on a certain self-organizing principles under which they tend towards equilibrium.
