For a long time he had been away from the camera lens. And now 37-year-old actor is back on TV screens, to play a major role, along with longtime partner Araceli Gonzalez telenovely «Mil Millones», which will premiere in June this year in Argentina.

Friendly, easy to communicate and jealously guarded privacy, Bermudez calmly responds to his return to the world of telenovelas. We met him at his home, located in San Martin de los Andes, in the south of Argentina, where he lives with his wife Andrea (former kindergarten teacher) and her two daughters - a decade and a half year-old Kamila Manuela.

Once you are not filmed for four years, what hopes you have associated with the return to television?

Now I'm much calmer everything. I love my profession, and I want to have fun because I do not indulge in depression Depression   on every occasion. In truth, I do not expect anything special. One thing I know well - I'm not going to go crazy about what I rating.

Why did you decide to come back now?

For a long time I received different proposals, but none seemed quite convincing. A proposal for a filming of "Mil Millones" I was interested, and I consulted with my family. I liked the story and my character - a working man who suddenly becomes a millionaire with all the consequences. I think this is the right moment, because now all over the world just do what they say about money, their amount or absence. I would like to show that money does not bring happiness.

What did you have in terms of money?

I've had good and bad times, but my life does not change. When I started earning, I moved into the house, did not buy something that I did not need it. Maybe it happened because of my salary at that time was just enough for the necessary costs. Actually, I - not an ambitious man. I do not have crazy cravings for hoarding. For me the most important thing - happiness and love people close to me.

What Gustavo Bermudez understand the word success?

Several years ago, I would say that success - a high rating TV show, movie theater or a full crowd of spectators at an exit from the theater. However, at the moment, I have no doubt that the most important thing to be a happy man.

Are you happy?

Yes, although, of course, not always. But, overall, I am quite optimistic person, I always try to go forward, to enjoy every moment. I believe that we need to learn to appreciate life and not wait for that understanding of what is really important for you to come only in extreme circumstances, vsledstive serious illness, for example.

Who do you live far from the capital, how do you such a life?

I love. When I was a teenager, I dreamed that in 35 years, will leave to live in the village. But since my wife was not thrilled with this idea, we decided to opt for something in between. So compromise and became San Martin de los Andes. We've been here more than two years and conduct a calm, measured life in direct contact with nature. We love the mountains. In the winter we go skiing in the summer, I go with her eldest daughter for a walk on foot or on horseback. In addition, we spend a lot of time with friends and family who come to visit us.

It was hard to get used to such a life?

No, my personal life has always been very calm, in addition, I have never liked the big city. At first I was bored at work, but otherwise neither I nor my life has not changed much. Only change the context. In San Martin de los Andes live better, because there is no such madness as in Buenos Aires.

And you do not miss former popularity, for those times when you are harassed with requests for autographs?

I have not had a chance to get bored at these things, because people kept coming up to me. All I remembered fondly. In addition, I have no imperial ambitions, the need for whatever was to be known. I will not die if I will not show on television. I - an actor, because I like this profession, I have learned to accept the rest as a result of my work, not as something that we should strive deliberately.
