Most of the contemporary Russian artists on stage with ease deserve reproaches or that they do not have vocal or in the absence of the profile of music education. But as the story of Russian show business, and even the presence of a decent vocal and a great musical education does not protect artists from repertoire of dubious quality. Ekaterina Chuprinin is actually called Katya Lel, born September 20, 1974 in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, Nalchik .  Although her family had no relation to professional music, the family all loved the music, so it is not surprising that from an early age Katya grew up in a musical atmosphere .  And then there's the elder sister Irina bought a piano for lessons, and three-year future singer vengeance tried to sing along while playing music .  Pretty soon it turned out that the musical talents of the younger daughter deeper and wider than the rest of the family: after all not every gifted child, even under force to study at a music school in two classes, piano and choral conducting .  The next logical step was the end of the music school and admission to the vocal department of the North-Caucasian Institute of Arts .  However, Catherine haunted the idea that it is able to do more than to be one of the best singers in the albeit remarkable, but still a small republic of Kabardino-Balkaria .  As anyone not deprived of talent and ambitions of people in Russia, Katya dared to go to Moscow .  To conquer, so to speak .

This process as a whole was a success, but stretched for quite a long time. It so happened that in the summer of 1994, when Catherine arrived in Moscow, the capital, in Gorky Park, held a competition of young performers "Musical Start", a member of the jury that he was Lev Leshchenko. Kate, being one of the participants (and, incidentally, laureate), managed to convey Leo Valerianovich cassette recordings. Very soon Leshchenko contacted her and invited not only to enter the Russian Academy of Music in the course of which he scored, but to become a member of his touring bands. Of course, the girl just arrived from Nalchik, could not miss such an opportunity - and the next four years, while Kate went with Leshchenko on tour as a backing vocalist and studied by correspondence at Gnesinka, which she graduated from in 1998.

In show business all good

In the same year, and began a solo career Katya Lel, already by this time chose a slightly caramelized, but memorable stage name. Started this career, it should be noted, is very promising: in 1998 at Lel released his first solo album, "Champs Elysees" and to the end of the year, thanks to the composer and poet Eugene Kemerovo, she appeared very real, as they say, Stopudoviy, superhit. The romantic song "I miss you" is very differed favorably against the backdrop of the vast majority of the other songs of the time quality melody and interesting poetry and fresh, strong voice of the young singer. And the first widely known among producers and listeners Katya Lel earned then.

However, the promising start turned not a failure, but much less reassuring continuation. It turned out that the scale of the song "I miss you" appear in the repertoire of every day and every year, and without them the singer Katya Lel in the format of show business with his classically-variety art with a tendency towards rock ballad song was not singularity then needed. So following her three albums, "Talisman" (1999), "very" (2002) and "Between Us" (2002), of course, got a certain response, but he was weak. So it had to be something fundamentally change.

This was done due to the beginning of the creative collaboration Katya Lel with one of the most interesting Russian producers, Maxim Fadeev, the man who gave birth to such diverse projects as Linda and glucose .  Maxim and Katya did not disappoint - it made it really popular .  However, for this she had to occupy a niche in the entertainment business, which is not only a busy found Fadeev: silly image of blonde with sexy voice and a charming lack of any meaning in the songs .  But in 2003-2004, it was hard to find a singer in Russia, which would be more famous than Katya Lel .  Songs "Musi-Pusi", "Jaga-Jaga", "My marmalade" have become hits, over which all laughed, but the constant humming .  In 2004 Katya Lel finally began recitals on the really big sites on it poured rain almost all kinds of music awards and prizes .  However, as warned Fadeev, this popularity was not too long, but it was not designed for long life .  Since 2006, the "top" Katya Lel had come to nothing, besides, she quarreled with his eternal producer Alexander Volkov, who for two years in court trying to forbid the singer to use a nickname, but to no avail .  But Kate has found stability in family life, leaving in 2008 to marry a businessman Igor Kuznetsov and giving birth in April 2009, the daughter of Emily .
