Find in a busy schedule Marcus Palmeira free minute - no easy task. Life star and actor, running between Rio de Janeiro and the island Komandatuba - the location of the new port of Miracles, where Marcus plays a fisherman by the name of Guma. After four relatively "quiet" months journalist Dalila Margarian had the opportunity to interview Marcos for ELLE magazine this month.
Elle: Do you keep in shape?
Marcus: Yeah, I do all that is necessary and possible, eat well, exercise, run, play soccer, and I try to take care of their hair
Hair: structure, characteristics of growth and development
and skin. In truth, doing all I care about is the important tool of their work: its appearance. They look at me and see my appearance, so I can say that my body - this is my raw material. But I'm not by nature a daffodil in the care of appearance, I do not go to far. Yes, and my characters enough courage, and do not have to look perfect as a picture, I do not like when the characters look unnatural.
Elle: What about your negative traits?
Marcus: I can be distracted when I put on a few messy. And it is incorrigible, a bad habit, which I live more than twenty years. I'm not obsessed with fashion and general clothing. It is much more important than all of these things - it was close to someone for whom you live, that's what makes a man strong. So elegant I can not name.
Elle: Do you like that, you see a hero?
Marcos: I'd probably be lying if I said no. But to be an actor - it is not only to be a hero, to play the Cavaliers. This method is not possible to develop and grow professionally. And it's not mine, I like to be different.
Elle: Do you have any complex?
Marcus: [Laughs] I have never had such problems in relationships with women, if you want it to learn. I've always had a good sense of humor. I have noticed that women enjoy the company of men with a sense of humor. And I'm a good friend. And I was always so. I respect me, and I try to fit it.
Elle: Besides the fact that you're a good actor, you're also a farmer. Have you been doing this?
Marcus: That's enough. I started this business with his friend Ryld, he was my right hand. But, unfortunately, in the past year he died - he was the victim of two criminals, one of whom is now in prison, while the other escaped. And now we, together with his wife Eleni continue this work, to continue what began with Ryld. For me, his death was a cruel blow, because it was my best friend.
Elle: You afraid of death?
Marcus: Death - no. But suffering, disease, or simply risky situation - that's what scares me. But death itself is not so terrible. When we die, for us it ends. More difficult for those who remain.
Elle: Have you thought about old age?
Marcus: [Laughs] No. I still feel very fertile period. But I find that the experience that we accumulate over a lifetime, helps us. Today, and this is logical, no one wants to grow old. And now for me in that sense, things are going quite well. [Laughs]
Elle: It is known that mature men have their charm ...
Marcus: Yes, and women aged too. Many women in their 50 years very beautiful. Today, women have access to more information, they also pay great attention to the health, nutrition
Healthy eating
, Gymnastics. And it is natural.
Elle: Do you believe in luck?
Marcos: [Smiles] I think that I am lucky enough. I have a lot of luck in my life, mainly because I do not believe in bad luck. I find that good fortune - is nothing more than how to be at the right time in the right place, surrounded by the right people. In this regard, I really luck smiled many times, both in personal life and professional.
Elle: Then tell me when you think, you are most fortunate?
Marcus: No doubt it was a meeting with these natives of Brazil many years ago. Then I was just a boy, but still perfectly remember all those events, and how many emotions and memories, when I first saw the American Indian. This meeting is, in some way, has had a positive impact on my life.
Elle: How was it?
Marcus: My father [lodges Viana, filmmaker brother Chico anisyl] studied the life of the Brazilian hinterland, wrote down the address of one of the houses where the Indians lived. And once we got there together. I spent some time living with them, and this greatly influenced my relationship to nature and the way I see life.
Elle: Do you practice any religion?
Markus: No, I'm an atheist. I do not really like the idea of believing in a deity. But I believe in the power of will, and because of the nature of light thoughts. Perhaps this is why I'm interested in spiritualism. For example, African culture and its influence on life is very strong, because it sends you all the power of nature, gives strength of character.
Elle: Are you superstitious?
Marcus: [Laughs] To be honest, I try from time to time not to share with all of its plans, while not all do. It is simply the only way to avoid false hopes.
Elle: Do you have any amulet for good luck?
Marcus: Yes, clover, which gave me. But I do not wear it with him, he is at home in a box as a gift.
Elle: What do you think of mysticism?
Marcus: The main thing is not to dwell on one thing. I think that the hardest thing in life - to find a balance of things. I prefer reality, ie take things as they are.
Elle: You make some ritual before going on stage?
Markus: In the theater, I try to get mad at anything, so the game is obtained naturally. This is a habit.
Elle: In order to be happy in love, also need luck?
Marcus: I think so. At the very least, to find that only half. But it does not depend on luck as these relationships will develop. Life - a movement, and you must always go forward. Otherwise, good luck turns away.
Elle: By the way, why you broke up with Ana Paula Arosio?
Marcus: [is serious] This is a very personal question that I prefer not to say. Our relationship is already sufficient ground in a press.
Elle: The pressure of the press influenced the fact that you broke up?
Marcus: We both know, always in public. Our relations have always been very interested. Still, we managed to avoid media attention. In principle, we have never really worried about the press.
Elle: Yet, you want to get married?
Marcus: I think that the whole world lives in constant search. I already came to sharing [with singer Vanessa Barum], but I still never been married. The family is much more important than the relationship itself than the official document and stamp in the passport.
Elle: You did not answer the question ...
Marcus: I think that has not yet found the only friend of life, which wanted to get married. Of course, in my life I was different women, we even lived together for a while. I believe that love should only get stronger when times are tough. This is well said Vinicius [Moraes]. In this respect, I can even say that my relationships with women were strong.
Elle: Are you a romantic person?
Marcus: Yes, but also very practical. If the novel is not the future, well, what can be done. I do not cry if spilled milk, also in the feelings. And the same, no matter what happens, no matter how to play the role, I will continue to move forward.
Elle: Have the children - it is part of your plans for the future?
Marcus: Yes, but first you need to find the half. I prefer not to worry too much about tomorrow.
Elle: You are in love?
Marcus: None.
Elle: In an article was written that you had a romantic encounter with Vera Fischer ...
Marcus: That's a good example of where the media are inventive. I was shocked when I read it. Last time, when I saw Vera, she was still married to Philip [Camargo]. Later, the press has written that I was also in love with Camilo [Pitanguy] and much more ... All this - pure fiction. I'm one.
Elle: You are capable of great deeds for the sake of love?
Marcus: I think so. When two people love, they are able to do all this for the sake of love. Love - it's a game, but it is necessary to play together, then it will grow. And if you will play one, then nothing happens.
Elle: Are you worried that you always play rustic character?
Marcus: I love the sea, fishing, engage in agriculture. But it is logical that I also like to be a city man. In general, I'm not too worried about all this. When you are holding the text, any character is good.
Elle: What kind of role do you most remember?
Marcus: On TV - Tadeu [in the series Pantanal]. In the movie - Albino [movie Dede Mamata]. Or Edgar in [the film] Buena Sorte.
Elle: How many movies have you weighed?
Marcus: About thirty. In May, we CETP Betsy de Paula will work on another film, "The marriage of Louise." I'll be there to play football. It will be a comedy.
Elle: What character would you like to play?
Marcus: My dream is to play Che Guevara, but I think I have a little old for the role. [Laughs] I would also like to play the leader of a movement.
Elle: Do you like to play Guma in the "Port of Miracles"?
Marcus: Yes, I find that this series is a very interesting and well put. Guma - one of the strengths of my roles on television. But I'm still learning a lot. For example, I do believe that on this role I still have to work. So I quite like.
Elle: What books have you read lately?
Marcus: The last thing I read - "Hell" Patricia Mello, the poor neighborhoods, slums and drugs. I also really liked the "Carandiru Station" Drauziu Varelli.
Elle: What do you like to do?
Marcus: I'm a foodie, I like to try cuisines from different countries, I love the tavern. I also like to walk along the beach, ride, chat with friends, going to the movies. I just love football. I like the same as the others.
Elle: How did you do of your own home in Rio?
Marcus: Yeah, there's almost nothing there. The room - a sofa to sit, and a table to eat. And in the bedroom - a bed, a TV yes. Yes, the picture hanging on the walls.
Elle: What kind of artists?
Marcus: Michelangelo, with a woman breast-feeding a baby, I love this picture. Another picture with Aboriginal pretty cute. And Miro painting. Everything is quite simple.
Elle: What kind of woman do you like?
Markus: Women who have a sense of humor and sociable. For me, it is not significant figure, skin color and hair. What matters to me - it is complicity. Women who are interested in life as attractive to me. Respect for people - that's what matters.
Elle: Sex is important in a relationship?
Marcus: Sex is very important. I find that this is the main thing. This connection of body, soul and emotions - it is very important to me. I felt it with Ana [Paula Arosio]. And now, I think that while I am only going to meet his fate, looking for that unique.
Elle: You value loyalty?
Marcus: Yeah, but you do not lose yourself, be yourself. This is a must in a relationship. Of course, nobody is perfect, and I do not serve for no one an example. We all make mistakes, we are all humans.
Elle: Are you jealous?
Markus: A little. It all depends on the individual case. Sometimes this happens when we feel insecure. It's very personal.
