 Pancha Karma

  1. In an open pan, heat the olive oil or melted butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the bay leaf, coriander, cumin seeds, small onion, chopped garlic, ginger and quickly fry until brown hue.
  3. Stir a teaspoon of ground turmeric and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper.
  4. Add mung beans, vegetables, water and rice.
  5. Cook for about an hour before until beans are soft, then adding a pinch of salt.
  6. Serve with a sauce of melted butter and chopped coriander leaves or cilantro.

Soup of mung bean

Ingredients

  • A half cup of mung bean
  • Tri cups water
  • One teaspoon of refined olive oil
  • One teaspoon Churna (Kapha, Pitta, Vata)

Cooking method

  1. In a frying pan, heat the mung beans for 3-4 minutes.
  2. In another pot, boil the water.
  3. Add to it the beans, stir briefly.
  4. Cook for about 20 minutes for softening beans
  5. Season Churna.
  6. Red-hot frying pan in clarified butter, add the seasonings and stir until a strong flavor.
  7. Pour this mixture into the beans, stir and cover.
  8. Cook, covered for about 5 minutes, so that the soup is completely absorbed all the flavors.
